We Need A Home!

If you are interested in adopting a cat or kitten from us, please ring our CatLine on 01268 285778 (preferred contact method) or email to homing@bascats.org.uk. Please mention that you've seen our website! Our Homing Officer will discuss with you what type of cat you would like and talk you through our adoption procedure.

All our cats are micro-chipped, and any behaviour or health problems are sorted out before they are put up for adoption. All cats are neutered if not already done when they come into care. All cats and kittens are treated for fleas and worms and vaccinated against Feline Flu, Enteritis and Leukaemia, micro-chipped and are homed with 4 weeks free Pet Plan Insurance. We do ask for  a minimum amount of £60 per cat or kitten to help towards the costs of their care whilst they were with us. However if you could afford a little more,  it will help us to help more unfortunate cats. There are just so many out there needing our help.

	*** CAT  OF THE WEEK *** TOMMY Tommy is a black, semi-long haired male and has been micro-chipped, neutered and vaccinated. This handsome boy came into our care with Sophie and Archie (see them below), as their owner could no longer look after them. He is a very playful boy, but is a bit shy at first with people he doesn't know (but aren't we all?), so will need a little time to settle into a new home. He can be homed either on his own or with Sophie or Archie. Could you  give Tommy his new loving home?
	ANDY & ADAM                               Andy and Adam are 8 month old black and white brothers. They have been micro-chipped, neutered and vaccinated. Andy and Adam came to us due to a family allergy. They were a little shy at first but they do enjoy having fuss and playing with their toys and each other.  They are very close, as you can see from their latest photo - it is hard to see where one finished and the next one starts, so ideally  we would like to keep them together, and would prefer to rehome them as a pair. Could these handsome boys be just purrfect for your home?
	ABBY & CHLOE                Abby and Chloe are black sisters and have been micro-chipped, neutered and vaccinated. These lovely girls were originally adopted from us when they were 6 months old but have recently come back into our care as their owners had split up could not keep them. They were a bit shy when they first came back to us, but  have got braver everyday and now  enjoy being stroked. We would like to rehome them as a pair, as they have always been together, but would separate if the right homes came along. They will need a little time to settle into their new home, but once they feel secure, they will be a lovely addition to any home Could you give these gorgeous girls the new home they need?
	SOPHIE                   Sophie is a black and white, semi-long haired female and has been micro-chipped, neutered and vaccinated. This gorgeous girl came into our care with Tommy and Archie (see them above and below), as their owner could no longer look after them. She is a very playful lady, but is a little reserved at first with people she doesn't know, so will need a little time to settle into her new home. She can be homed either on her own or with Tommy or Archie. Could you  give lovely Sophie the  new start she needs?
	ALICE                 Alice is a pretty young black female, and has been micro-chipped, neutered and vaccinated. Alice was found in a dustbin cupboard with her two newborn kittens.  Now that they have grown up and been rehomed, she is looking for her own forever home.  She can be a very loving girl but on her own terms and is looking for an adults only household, as an only pet.  Can you be the special person to offer Alice the future she deserves?
	MISSY               Missy is a tabby female and has been micro-chipped, neutered and vaccinated. This lovely girl came into our care when the elderly lady she lived with became ill and could no longer look after her. She is a friendly and loving cat who will wash you and let you tickle her belly once she gets to know you. She would best suit a home where she will get attention.  Missy has previously lived with other related cats, so may be OK in a home with other friendly cats. Try as we might, we can't get a good picture of Missy, as she screws up her face whenever a camera is around. She obviously hates having her picture taken. Could you  give lovely Missy her new permanent home?
	ARCHIE                    Archie is a black and white male and has been micro-chipped, neutered and vaccinated. This handsome boy came into our care with Sophie and Tommy (see them above), as their owner could no longer look after them. He is a very playful boy, but like his siblings is a bit shy at first with people he doesn't know, so will need a littletime to settle into his new home. He can be homed either on his own or with Sophie or Tommy. Could you  give Archie his new loving home?
	CHLOE                   Chloe is a pretty black female and has been micro-chipped, neutered and vaccinated. Lovely Chloe has not had the best of times in her life and has had several homes over the last few years, through no fault of her own. She has come back into our care this time, as her owner's son, who has asthma, moved back home and is allergic to her. She came back to us in poor condition, with matted fur, but after visiting the vet, she is looking much better now. Chloe is a friendly girl, but on her own terms, so is looking for her forever home as an only pet in a home without  children.
	TWINKLE                    Twinkle is a gorgeous black and white female and has been micro-chipped, neutered and vaccinated. This lovely girl came into our care  when her owners moved away and left her. Being in care, has understandably unsettled her a lot. However, with patience, plenty of attention and a home without other pets, she is a very friendly cat who enjoys attention. Can you help her to find the right home to give her back the security that was taken away from her?
	LILY                               Lily is a pretty black and white female and has been micro-chipped, neutered and vaccinated. This lovely girl came into our care  when her owner was evicted. She is a friendly young lady, who although a little shy at first with strangers. Once settled she is quite curious of her surroundings. Lily is used to an adults only household so no young children please.  Can you offer lovely Lily a new loving home?
	BLOSSOM                             Blossom is a beautiful black female, with gorgeous green eyes and has been micro-chipped, neutered and vaccinated. Blossom came into our care  as a pregnant stray and had five adorable tabby kittens. She has been a super mum to her kittens who are now looking for new homes too (one already has a new home). She is a very sweet natured and friendly girl who loves to be fussed and enjoys her food and playing with toys. She is a very confident cat who would suit most types of homes. Can you offer lovely Blossom her loving home?
	BETHANY                               Bethany is a pretty tortie and white female and has been micro-chipped, neutered and vaccinated. Bethany was found in a shed, having given birth to her 3 kittens. She is a very affectionate cat once she gets to know you, although can appear a little nervous at first so would suit a a new owner who has had cats before. She would probably best suited to a home without young children. Could Bethany be the cat for you?
	BONNIE                               Bonnie is a lovely black and white female and has been micro-chipped, neutered and vaccinated. Bonny came into our care as a pregnant stray  and her kittens have already got new homes. Now it is her turn.  She is a very friendly cat who would suit most homes. Could Bonnie be just purr-fect for your home?
	ROSIE                               Rosie is a pretty black and white female and has been micro-chipped, neutered and vaccinated. Rosie came into our care after being found in a garden with her 3 kittens, Rocky, Mac and Mindy, and has been a terrific mother to them. Now she is ready for a  home of her own.  She is a very friendly cat who would suit most homes. Could Rosie be the cat you have been waiting for?
	BELLA                               Bella is a gorgeous tortoiseshell and white female and has been micro-chipped, neutered and vaccinated. Bella came into our care with her 3 kittens, as her owner was made homeless.  She is a playful and friendly young lady, about 1 year old, and would fit well into most  type of  homes.  She doesn't mind other cats, but we don't know how she feels about dogs. Could you give Bella her new forever home?

	JOEY & JIMMY                              Joey (ginger & white) and Jimmy (black & white)  are 5 month old brothers and have been micro-chipped, neutered and vaccinated. These handsome boys came to us from a multi-cat household. They are both very friendly and would suit most home and ideally are looking for a new home together. Could they come to live with you?
	LOTTIE, LETTIE                           LILLYBELLE & HERBIE             These gorgeous tabby kittens are Blossom's and have been micro-chipped and vaccinated. Picture 1  - Lottie, Lettie and Lillybelle, all girls Picture 2 - Herbie, male These lovely kittens are all very friendly. They are bundles of fun, who enjoy their food and just love to play with toys. They love being brushed and handled, so should suit most types of homes. Could you offer one or more of these cuties a new loving home?
	CARRIE, CLEMENCIE & CLAYDON                      These cute kitens were born to Bethany and have  been micro-chipped and vaccinated. Picture 1 - Carrie, black & white female Picture 2 - Clemencie, dark tortie female Picture 3 - Claydon,  black & white male These gorgeous kittens are very playful  and active, as you would expect for kittens of their age.  They will make a welcome addition to any home Could you offer one or more of them a new loving home?
	SAM & SOX                              Sam (black) and Sox (black & white)  are adorable young  brothers and have been micro-chipped, neutered and vaccinated. These handsome boys came to us from a multi-cat household. They are very friendly, confident and  affectionate little kitens who are full of character. They are very playful and mischievous and love playing with their toys. They are very close, as you can see, and would like to be rehomed together, please. Could you give these lovely boys their new forever home?
	PETER                                Peter is a cute 10 week old black male, with a few white hairs under his chin, and has been micro-chipped and vaccinated. Peter is a very friendly boy, who purrs as soon as you start stroking him and loves a lot a fuss. He is very playful as you would expect of  kitten of his age.  He is OK with other cats and seems fine with his fosterers' friendly dogs, so would suit most homes    . Please pick Peter to come to live with you?
	ROCKY, MAC & MINDY                       These lovely kittens are Rosie's babies. They have been micro-chipped and vaccinated. Picture 1 - Rocky, male, one eye Picture 2 - Mac, male Picture 3 - Mindy, female You may have read Rocky's story on our home page.  He was found with mum Rosie, and his siblings in a garden at 2 1/2 weeks old.  He had a very bad eye infection and had to have one eye removed. Apart from this he is a very normal kitten, as are Mac and Mindy.  They are all very friendly, playful and active, so would  suit most homes. Could you offer one or more of these lovely kittens a  new loving home?
	BETHANY, BETTY & BOBBY            These lovely kittens are Bella's kittens. They have been micro-chipped and vaccinated. Bethany - Black & white female Betty - tabby & white female Bobby - white & black male. Bella's 3  adorable kittens are a very playfull and inquisitive trio and should setttle well into loving families. Could you offer one or more of these lovely kittens a  new loving home?
